Mounds state recreation area Brookville Lake
We got out and did a weekend camping trip with the our son and his wife and 2 kids at Brookville Lake. The Lake is a COE property that is run by the Indiana DNR. Our campground has 456 sites most all them are level with asphalt pads and electric, they have one loop that is full hook up and that is where we stayed for 3 nights.
This property has everything, boating, hiking trails, wildlife and a very nice swimming beach. We where told that the camp ground is full on holidays and most weekends the full hook up sites go fast. Our site was nice but a tree had been removed and the stump ground out making for a low spot with no grass.
Everyone in our party enjoyed the trip and we plan on doing it again soon. I will post a few pictures.
