Fun trip...............

Took the RV out for a weekend trip with my son, his wife and two grandkids.  We stayed at Sugar Valley Canoe across the road from Turkey Run State Park.  An old friend from my college days started this canoe business many, many years ago and has now turned over the day to day running of the business to his adult children. That gave us time to visit, drink rum and ride around in his golf cart.

We parked in a nice quite spot and had running water, a fire ring with unlimited firewood and we where close to the ice cream from their store that the grandkids loved.  Since I had just serviced the generator it was good to let it run for a few hours a day.  The kids and grandkids spent most of Saturday in the park hiking the trails.  They wanted to go out on sugar creek and float the creek on a tube but recent rains made the creek to high for anyone under 12 yrs old. My son and his wife where able to canoe on Sunday for awhile.

It was a fun trip that passed by much to quickly and we will be back for sure in the future. If you have not experienced Turkey Run State Park,  Sugar Creek or Sugar Valley Canoes you owe it to yourself to check out this area of Indiana.
