Finally got to go camping.............

We where able to get out for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend.  We went back to Sugar Valley on a new piece of property across from Turkey Run State Park, we had a great view and axcess to sugar creek. My son and his family where able to join us, we also had some friends come by to visit and play in the creek, but the big new adventure was the go cart track for us to use.  The kids and adults seemed to enjoy the hot laps they took around the speedway by the wide smiles on their faces.

We where able to social distance as no one was with in miles of our campsite. The food we cooked was a real high light, we had ham&beans, had a fish fry with fresh grouper and we pigged out on Up the Creek pizza and fresh hand dipped ice cream. We like to eat !!!!!.

The Indiana State Parks opened the campgrounds for the holiday, and Turkey Run appeared to have the campers spaced out fairly well even though the park its self was jammed packed. Hopefully that will help slow the spread of the virus, people just need to get out and blow of some steam from being locked in their homes for a few months.  We have trips planned for the next 3 weekends so I guess that we will not only have keep an eye on the weather but also how crowed the campgrounds are.
