Life goes on..................

As people start to return to their homes and towns all thru out Florida, stores and gas stations are restocking supplies. We made the move back to Pat Thomas Park see our daughter and new grand baby two days ago. The drive back from Montgomery was going so smooth until we hit the I-10 area and the traffic was a nightmare bumper to bumper ride.

The news reports coming out of south Florida state that the Keys took the direct hit from Irma and it will be weeks before people will be allowed back to the lower keys to start to rebuild their lives. Power is out, debris are blocking roads and the harbors are full of trash. We love the Keys and our prayers go out to all who are hurting.

Yesterday the traffic in Tallahassee was very heavy all day, lot of gas stations ran out of gas. I was in a wal mart and they had no bread and shelves that have taken a hit from shoppers stocking up. Today we noticed that some of the gas stations had gas today, thats a positive sign that life goes on.

We have seen power crews and trucks, national guard, trucks with large generators and just everyday people from out of state with pick up trucks loaded with bottle water all heading south. Please consider helping out our friends not only in Florida, but Houston as well.
