Newmar Service Center.

Canyon Star was back at the Newmar Service Center for some much needed maintance. Having a windshield replaced, along with slide adjustments and a few other small items that needed to be replaced or reprogramed. The new service center just opened a year ago and is quite an upgrade from the old service center, the new campground is full hook ups, level concrete pads and nicely spaced for the 50 plus RVs that use the campground daily. I made my appointment in July for service in November, there is no just show up and get in line. Newmar gives you the number of days it will take to repair youur coach and you leave the coach and wait. Newmar will give you email or phone upated daily until your coach is finished. I was able to drop the coach off and make the 3 hour trip back home until its time to go pick her up. The majority of the coach owners are from out of state, so they usally hunker down in a local motel untill they can get back in their coach.
