January to July 2017,

A new year and a long trip planned for Feb. We left cold and snowy Indiana the first of Feb for a month in the warm Florida sunshine. We had to take the Canyon Star to Disney World and on the 7 mile bridge on our way to the Star Party in the Keys(right)

I had to de-winterize the RV on the first night stop in Cullman, AL. and to re-winterize it on the way home at our last stop in Corbon, Ky. Indiana still had a month or so of freezing temps. We received some wonderful news when we where in Florida, Our daughter told us we where going to be grandparents again this summer(Aug). We already have reservations for 3 weeks when the baby is born, cant wait to have a new lil camper in the family.

Our trip to Florida was filled with fun, meeting new people and seeing some new sites we haven't seem before. Places we went.

*Disney World

*Star Party on Pig Pine Key

*Everglades National Park

*Ft. Myers

*Tallahassee

*Atlanta

We drove over 3100 miles, payed on average $26 a night for camping and averaged 7.5 miles a gallon pulling our car. All in all it was a wonderful trip.

Other trips taken in this time frame where local and in the 4 to 2 night stays, A total of 39 days during this time period. So the first year is over and we stayed in the Canyon Star for a total of 84 days. So you got the cliff notes version of the first year, from now on any post will be real time and up to date.
