Sorry, Im behind
Yes, I know its been awhile since I last posted on the adventures of the Canyon Star, so I will do a report on everything we've done in June. We have camped or been gone every weekend in June our trips include camping at Brookville Lake, Sugar Valley Canoes across from Turkey Run State Park and Spring Mill State Park with a week in St. Paul Mn on a non RV trip with family.
The camping trips where done with my oldest son and his family. They bought a pull behind trailer and have used it like it should be used, it seams perfect for their growing family and its nice to see the grandkids out enjoying nature and not on video games all day. We have had some epic meals, tons of fun and still have more summer to continue the adventures.
The trip to St. Paul was a family reunion as my daughter Audrey who lives in Florida had a conference there, so our two sons also came up from Indianapolis and North Dakota. We had a total of 9 family members and it was Christmas last year since we have all been together. My nephew and his wife live in the area and where able to join us for a get together one afternoon. We where on the go every day, the twin cities offer lots of fun things to do and we where never without fun and exciting entertainment. We saw the zoo, baseball, basketball and soccer game, explored the Mississippi river locks and dam, the very beautiful St. Paul Cathedral and of course the Mall of America
On our way home we stopped at the spam museum and the Herbert Hoover National Historic site. As we all went our separate ways it left us with many great memories and a plan to do this again next summer when her conference will be in the nations capital.
