1st time seeing Santa.

We are now back in Indiana, Our trip to Florida for Thanksgiving was a fun time. Our new granddaughter has grown and so alert in the two months since we last saw her, why do they have to grow up so fast?  As stated earlier we spent 4 days in Orlando and then back to Tallahassee for the rest of our stay. Most of the days where filled with family, food and shopping, got a picture with Santa and did a few good hikes around the area.

The trip home was great with perfect weather for traveling, we stayed overnight at mallard point campground in Decater, Al. We where 6 hours from home and pulled into our driveway before dark and still had time to go rescue the dogs from the kennel before they closed for the night.  going to leave the Canyon Star in the driveway for a few days as we clean and winterize her before we take her back to the storage lot.

We are busy planning our next trip in Feb. 2018 to New Orleans for Mardi Gras  and other neat adventures. We plan to be on the road close to a month and traveling to several new states and of course stopping in Tallahassee to see our granddaughter. Will keep you posted as the planning proceeds.
