Baby Time!!!!!!
We are in Pat Thomas Park on Lake Talquin between Tallahassee and Quincy, FL. we are here to welcome a new grandbaby into the world. The baby is due at anytime and I know my daughter is ready for that time come.
Had a good trip down, drove 9 hours to Montgomery, AL to Gunter Hill Campground for a nights stay, what a jewel this campground turned out to be. Its on the Alabama river and is a COE campground with concrete level sites and FHU for $13.00 a night with the senior pass. I believe its the best value any where in the USA and just as nice as Fort Wilderness minus the theme parks. I think the CHF helped with allowing me to drive for so long with out the fatigue that comes with driving the motor home for long periods of time.
Our trip will last a month and will have side trips planned to the beach and other places of interest as well as plenty of baby time. We have our black lab Pepper with us since she injured her leg and will need surgery when we get back home, she is enjoying all the new sites and smells. Will keep you posted on our comings and goings as the trip progress's .
