With all the snow and cold weather we had this winter in central Indiana we decided it was time to see the green grass and flowers of the state of Flordia. Our daughter and her family came to stay with us for a week here in Indiana as our granddaughter who is almost 4 has never seen snow before and believe me we had plenty of snow for her to see. She got to build snowmen, sledding and I think her favorite was making snow angels. All the snow melted before we took them back to Flordia with us in Canyon Star.
Our trip back to Flordia took us through 2 new states North and South Carolinia, we wanted to see some new country for us so our regular route was altered. Jacksonville Fl. was our destination for a week on the beach at Hanna Park. The weather was not kind for beach activties but the surfers did enjoy the bigger than average waves. we did some side trip to St Augustine and severe
l National Park properties in the area.
We headed back to Tallahassee to spend the rest of week close to our grandaughter, one night stay was on a goat farm on just a beautiful piece of property surouned by goats chicken and ducks. A trip to St. Marks is always planned when we are in the area, this trip we saw several Eagles and some new nest, along with alligators and other birds. Our trip always end to soon and we had to make our way back home and hopefully the coming of Spring in Indiana.
